Curt Schilling has taken a leave of absence from ESPN as the former Sox pitcher faces legal issues with his troubled video game company.
ESPN vice-president of communications Mike Solyts tweeted the following on Saturday: "We mutually agreed w/CurtSchilling to take a leave as he works thru his business issues."
The Boston Globe reported on Friday that Schilling was sued for $2.4 million by in an attempt to recover the $2.4 million it made in loans to 38 Studios, Schilling's video game company, which filed for bankruptcy on June 7.
