Red Sox put Sweeney on DL
The Boston Red Sox placed outfielder Ryan Sweeney on the 15-day disabled list Sunday with left big toe inflammation.The 27-year-old Sweeney is hitting .292 with 17 doubles, 13 RBI and 19 runs scored in 52 games for Boston this year
