Disney set to open Cars Land attraction

California Adventure will unveil Cars Land, based on the 'Cars' film, on June 15. Universal Studios and Six Flags Magic Mountain also are preparing to launch new rides for this summer.

The latest expansion of Disney's California Adventure, the new Cars Land attraction, is set to open June 15, Disney officials said Friday, as the park offered a peek at one of the biggest attractions featured in the $1-billion expansion.
